Black History Month
As part of Feile an Phobail’s Draiocht (youth fringe festival, October 2010) Feile FM teamed up with race relations group, Beyond Skin / Homely Planet to air a special programme in recognition of Black History Month. Feile an Phobail’s Youth Committee question African artists (from Uganda and Ghana) about their culture and musical traditions. The show is presented by Maurice Macartney (Beyond Skin) and seventeen-year-old Anna Smyth (Feile Youth Committee).
