18/08/10 Palestine Night: Outdoor broadcast from Féile FM

Pauline Scanlon
Féile FM, during August Féile 2010 held a series of outdoor live broadcasts, one of which was at the ‘Ceol go Phailistín’ concert featuring Pauline Scanlon, Donogh Hennessy, Martin Brunsden and West Belfast’s very own Méabh O’Hare. Special guests on the night were The Raparees, and the concert opened with Caoimhín Mac Giolla Catháin & Italy’s Flavia Rovella and their blend of Gaelic and Spanish song and arrangements.
The Ceol Go Phailistín (meaning ‘Music/Sing To Palestine’) quartet of acclaimed musicians played the event to raise money for their own journey to Palestine.
