Marketing & Production Assistant (Full-time/Temporary) based in Féile FM Community Radio Station.

Job Duties:

This is a Step Ahead vacancy of the Steps to Work programme. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours, particularly during festival times. Developing and maintaining databases of community groups/charities and local businesses. Make contact with organisations/businesses regarding advertising/sponsorship/volunteering opportunities. Updating/developing web content. The successful candidate will be fully trained on all aspects of IT. Distribution of promotional material. Assisting with design/distribution and analysis of listener survey. Production duties as necessary, including provision of support to production staff and volunteers. General Administrative duties as required.

Qualifications / Experience:

Applicants must meet the criteria for the Step Ahead Programme. Three GCSEs (or equivalent), grades A – C. Computer literate with knowledge of email/internet applications and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Previous media or marketing experience would be advantageous but it is not essential as all necessary training will be provided. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good telephone manner and confident in approaching people. Must be cooperative and willing to work as part of a team.
