30/03/10 I didn’t think Shake ‘n’ Vac was still as potent!

Shake 'n' Vac

Shake 'n' Vac

Remember all that cold weather back in Jan/Feb? Well, we had a bit of a flood here in the station and were emersed in two inches of water, and the carpets have smelt like dirty socks ever since. So, I came in this morning armed with some Shake ‘n’ Vac, “that puts the freshness back“, and do that, it certainly did! I’m now choking on the fumes… can’t win! I should be thankful that Maura is at a conference all day as she’d have a right wee moan about it.

On a more radio-related issue; we have a big week planned for Easter Week and have dug deep into our (very, very interesting) archives and have a great week’s programming sorted which consists of highlights from past festivals. And if you missed our St. Patrick’s Day Show, it will be aired again between 4.00pm and 6.30pm on Easter Monday.

For the first time since it took place on Sunday 21st March, we will be airing the Gerry Kelly Show on Easter Sunday at 6.00pm from St. Kevin’s Hall. On Easter Tuesday at 4.00pm we will broadcast the very successful PJ McGrory Lecture with guest speaker, President Mary McAleese.

If you’re a morning person why not have a listen into our Féile Traditional Breakfast Show every day next week from 7.00 – 9.00am where you’ll hear some great trad/Irish music with no waffling! There’s plenty of programmes for all ages and I should have the whole Easter programm onto the website before Friday so you’ll not miss a thing!

Go raibh maith agat!
